Sweden: LKAB’s iron ore deliveries decrease by 3%, y-o-y, in Q1CY’22

LKAB has released its operational results for Q1CY’22. Highlights:

• Iron ore output recorded at 6.4 mnt, down 14% y-o-y as against 7.4 mn t in Q1CY’21.
• Deliveries of iron ore products decreased by 3% on the year to 6.7 mnt compared to 6.9 mnt in the year-ago period.
• Out of total iron ore deliveries, the quantum used for pellet production stood at 86% as against 88% in Q1CY’21.
