“India should impose a ban on iron ore exports to preserve the non-renewable resource for the local industry” a Press Trust of India report carried by the Business Standard newspaper said on Tuesday citing the steel secretary. It will be good to completely ban iron ore exports as these are non-renewable resources, like coal and petroleum product, the report quoted Atul Chaturvedi as saying.
