Spot iron ore fines price in China rebounds

Spot price for iron ore (Fe 62%) fines yesterday picked up by $1.75 against the day before and was assessed at $123.25/t CFR China. Despite recent production curbs in Tangshan, steel demand is unlikely to be affected amid positive steel margins, some market participants believe. Also, supply tightness for medium grade fines at ports may support the prices in near-term.
