South Korea: Steel billets imports largely stable, m-o-m, in Mar’22

South Korea’s steel billets imports remained largely stable at 196,480 t in Mar’22 as against 202,713 t in Feb, as per data released by customs.
Japan was the largest exporter at 97,973 t followed by Indonesia at 54,472 t.
However, import volumes rose sharply by 90% to 570,455 t in Jan-Mar’22 compared with 300,316 t in the same period last year.
