South Korea: Steel billets exports decrease by 22% m-o-m in Feb’23

South Korea’s steel billets exports registered a fall of 22% m-o-m to 17,486 t in Feb’23 compared to 22,323 t in Jan’23, as per customs data.
Japan was the largest importer at 16,329 t in the month under review.
Cumulative billets exports in Jan-Feb’23 rose by a sizeable 60% y-o-y to 39,809 t compared to 24,828 t in Jan-Feb’22.
