South Korea: Silico manganese imports increase 32% m-o-m in Aug’22

South Korea’s silico manganese imports grew by 32% m-o-m to 13,369 t in Aug’22 against 10,148 t in Jul’22. The rise in imports was mainly because of a 43% m-o-m increase in shipments from Malaysia.
Cumulative import volumes in Jan-Aug’22 went up by 9% to 76,589 t compared to the same period last year.
