Odisha: Jindal Stainless gets environmental clearance to expand crude steel capacity

Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has received an environmental clearance for its proposed capacity expansion of Odisha-based plant to 4.5 mnt/year of crude steel via electric arc furnace from 2.2 mnt/year at present. In addition, it has received clearance to expand cold rolling mill capacity to 2.6 mnt/year from 1.6 mnt/year at present, SteelMint learnt from sources.
