South Korea: POSCO raises scrap purchase price

South Korean steel major Pohang Iron & Steel Company (POSCO) has raised its scrap purchase price, as per latest Steel Daily reports.
The purchase price for the Gwangyang and Pohang works has increased by KRW 10,000/t ($8) amid low inventories at mills.
The purchase price for Saengcheol has risen to KRW 670,000/t ($562) due largely to the increase in domestic prices.
