POSCO has raised the price of 316L stainless steel for Dec’21 shipment by KRW 100,000/t ($84.75/t), m-o-m, on high molybdenum prices. The price of other stainless steel grades remain unchanged. Several US and European steelmakers have increased their alloy surcharges amidst rising energy costs and hike in prices of raw materials such as nickel and chromium.
