- South Korean steel major Pohang Iron & Steel Company (POSCO) has reduced its scrap purchase price for the second time in Sept’21, as per latest reports.
- The world’s sixth-largest steelmaker with production of over 40 mn t/year has announced a reduction in scrap purchase price by KRW 10,000/t ($9).
- The purchase price for saengcheol scrap (busheling grade material) is now at KRW 660,000/t ($563).
