Japanese electric arc furnace (EAF) steel major, Tokyo Steel, has rolled over carbon flat steel prices for Oct’21. This is the company’s second price roll-over this month effected with a view to letting the market absorb previous hikes. Earlier in the month, the steel major had increased pickled cut sheet prices by JPY 3,000/t ($27/t), for Sept’21 sales due to supply crunch and higher production costs.
