Posco, the world’s sixth-largest steel producer, is cutting prices of cold-rolled (CR) galvanised products by KRW 50,000/t ($42/t) effective 3 Jan’22. Meanwhile, Hyundai Steel, Dongkuk Steel, KG Dongbu Steel, POSCO Steel Sheet and SEAH CM could not determine the prices of CR plated steel for Jan sales. However, prices of colour steel sheets remain unchanged, although a hike may be announced before Feb.
