South Korea: Flat steel exports decline by over 8% y-o-y in H1 CY’20

South Korea’s flat steel exports in H1 CY’20 dropped by 8.6% y-o-y to 11.08 mn t from 12.12 mn t H1 CY’19. Exports to Japan and Thailand fell by 26.77% to 1.13 mn t and 28.32% to 0.58 mn t, respectively. However, exports to China picked up by 21% to 1.9 mn t.
