India: Exports touch all-time monthly high of 2.2 mn t in June

Setting a new record of sorts, Indian steel exports hit an all-time high of 2.2 mn t in Jun’20 – against 1.91 mn t in May’20 – out of which flat products and semis accounted for 1.25 mn t and 0.82 mn t respectively. Exports of long products were 0.2 mn t in Jun’20. China alone accounted for 70% of Indian exports.
