South Korea: Ferrous scrap imports down by 14%, m-o-m, in July

South Korea imported 317,727 t of scrap in Jul’22 as against 371,638 t in Jun’22, a drop of 14% m-o-m, as per data maintained by SteelMint.
Japan was the top exporter at 179,290 t in July, followed by the USA and Russia at 75,723 t and 25,287 t respectively.
On a yearly basis, ferrous scrap imports were down by 27% from 434,912 t in Jul’21.
