South Korea: Ferro silicon imports fall sharply by over 50% m-o-m in Sep’22

South Korea’s ferro silicon imports registered a sharp 54% m-o-m fall to 12,834 t in Sep’22 from 27,772 t in Aug’22. The key exporting countries were China (7,476 t), Russia (2,672 t), Malaysia (503 t), and Brazil (575 t). On a quarterly basis, imports rose by 14% to 65,257 t in Q3CY22 compared to 57,227 t Q2CY22.
