South Korea’s ferro manganese exports dropped by 17% m-o-m to 11,294 t in Sept’22 against 13,639 t in Aug’22, as per SteelMint’s customs data.
Export volumes decreased amid weak demand against the backdrop of stainless steel production cuts globally.
Key importers were USA (5,000 t), the Netherlands (1,311 t), and Brazil (1,036 t).
Export volumes in Q3CY22 stood at 35,862 t, down 29% compared to 50,786 t in Q2CY22.
