South Asian imported scrap prices remain muted on limited trades. Meanwhile, market sentiments are negative in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Indian buyers continued booking small quantities. Industry participants expect that the market may pick up ahead of the winter season, which is also a favourable season for construction activities.

Recent deals
- 2,000 t of shredded scrap from the UK was traded at $455-460/t CFR Mundra.
- In another deal, 1,000 t of shredded scrap (UK-origin) was sold at $455-458/t CFR Nhava Sheva.

- UK-origin shredded scrap prices are at $458/t CFR Qasim, inching up from Friday.
- Europe-origin shredded scrap offers to India are at $455-460/t CFR Nhava Sheva, unchanged from last prices.
- UK-origin shredded prices are at $475-480/t CFR Chittagong, up by $5-10/t.
