The price for RB2 (5500 NAR kcal/kg) grade coal is assessed at INR 5,800/t (exclusive of cess and GST) ex-Gangavaram. While big traders are not ready to lower their offers and are offering RB2 coal at INR 6,000-6,200/t amid favourable stock level at Gangavaram port, the smaller traders are trying to clear out their stocks amid limited demand from the sponge sector.
