Steel major SAIL’s pig iron auction for 5,700 t (2,850 t x 2 rakes) basic grade, conducted today (23 Dec ’20) from Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), Jharkhand was booked at INR 33,350 /t (ex-works). Bids increased by INR 350/t compared to the previous auction on 16 Dec ’20. The previous auction for 3 rakes of about 8,850 t was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 33,000/t.
