Tharisa, fourth largest Chrome ore producer in South Africa, producing around 1.3mn t annually, has increased the production of chrome concentrate by 8.7% y-o-y in Q4 CY 20. However, the production was stable as compared to last quarter with the average metallurgical grade chrome concentrate contract price at $136/t. The company aims to reach the 1.55 mn t production in FY21 from 1.45 mn t in FY20.
