South Africa: Rail line to RBCT port resumes partial operations after derailment

The swift repair work has enabled the partial opening of rail line connected to RBCT port, which was temporary shut for 4 days, following derailment of 17 wagons (of a 200-wagon) coal train last week. However, no impact on country’s coal prices was seen amid the supply disruption as sufficient coal stock (about 5 mn t) was availiable at the port.
