Iran’s DRI production registers 11% y-o-y increase

During the first two months of the current Iranian year (20 Mar’20- 20 May’20), the country’s direct reduced iron (DRI) production has registered a y-o-y increase of 11% to reach 5.55 mn t. With 1.43 mn t of DRI production, Mobarakeh Steel Company stood as Iran’s largest DRI producer, during the period under consideration.
