Scrap auctions by auto parts producers in north India receive good response

On the second week of May’22, auto component producers in northern and western India conducted multiple auctions of mild steel melting/component scrap. A Haryana-based auto parts producer conducted an auction for around 400 t of auto end-cutting scrap that fetched bids at around INR 48,550/t exw. In another auction from Gujarat, 150 t of CR busheling scrap received bids at INR 50,500/t exw.
