SCCL Achieves Production and Sales Target for FY17

SCCL has achieved its set target for coal production and sales by shattering all previous records.

Singreni Collieries company Ltd (SCCL) is a Government coal mining company operating 17 opencast and 30 underground mines in the state of Telangana. The company has produced 61.34 MnT coal in FY17 against the set target of 58 MnT.

Coal dispatch in the fiscal year FY17 was 60.84 MnT against the set target of 58.01 MnT, thus over achieving the target for production and sales by 106% and 105% respectively.

Coal Production in FY17:
Coal production from SCCL has been progressively increasing over the years. During FY17, SCCL produced 61.34 MnT coal against 60.38 MnT in FY16, thus registering a growth of 1.59% Y-o-Y.

SCCL also achieved highest monthly coal production over the two years by producing 7.18 MnT in Mar’17. Production has increased by 22% M-o-M compared with 5.87 MnT in Feb’17 and 19% Y-o-Y compared with 6.04 MnT in Mar’16.

Coal Dispatches in FY17:
SCCL Coal dispatch increased by 3.68 % Y-o-Y to 60.84 MnT in FY17 compared with 58.68 in FY16.

Monthly Coal dispatches followed the footstep of Coal production by recording highest value over the two years in Mar’17. Coal dispatch was 6.47 MnT in Mar’17 up by 14% M-o-M compared with 5.7 MnT in Feb’17. Dispatches also rose by 21% Y-o-Y compared with 5.35 MnT in Mar’16.
