SAIL Issues Global Tender for Purchase of 20,000 MT Slab

SAIL has invited a global tender for purchase of 20,000 MT Carbon Steel Slab for its Salem Steel Plant, Tamil Nadu.

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is India’s largest steelmaker and produces a variety of steel and iron products including pig iron, flat and long products and special steels at its plants spread over India. The company will require a quantity of about 20,000 MT Slab as per IS 2830:2012 for Salem Steel Plant.

Quantity and Chemical Specification:

Delivery: 10,000 MT per Month.

Validity: The tender should be valid for 60 days from the date of opening of the tender.

Tender schedule:
The Due date for bid submission is 22 Jan’18 at 15:00 hrs IST and the techno-commercial opening is on 23 Jan’18 at 10:00 hrs IST.
