SAIL, one of the major steel producers in India, floated a tender to procure 44,400 MT of High Carbon ferro manganese for its various plants. The material is required in two cycles of 3 months each between Aug’16-Jan’17.
The online reverse auction tender process has also been completed and the material to be purchased shall be covered under:
Market-I (Bhilai Steel Plant, Bokaro Steel Plant, Durgapur Steel Plant, IISCO Steel Plant, Alloy Steel Plant).
According to sources, L1 for the tender has been awarded to Maithan Alloys.
