Russia plans to set up ferro alloys unit for domestic users

According to sources, Russia is planning to establish a new ferro alloys plant with the installation of a 6.3 MWh furnace in the Arctic zone of Russia. It is expected that the plant will start ferro alloys production, including silico manganese, from Mar’22. The plant is supposed to cater to the silico manganese clientele in the local market in Russia, as per latest reports.
