According to the Russian customs, the country witnessed a decrease of 24% M-o-M in its Ferro Alloy imports in Jan’18.
Russia imported 0.16 MnT in Jan’18 against 0.21 MnT in Dec’17. However, on yearly basis, Russian imports sees an increase of 45% Y-o-Y as it imported 0.11 MnT in Jan’17.
Russian imports consist of Manganese Ore majorly at 0.08 MnT in Jan’18, witnessing a decrease of 38% M-o-M against 0.13 MnT in Dec’17. Moreover, Silico Manganese imports by Russia registered a substantial decrease of 50% M-o-M. Chrome Ore imports by Russia in Jan’18 was recorded at 0.07 MnT and witnessed no change.

Kazakhstan remains the largest Ferro Alloy exporter to Russia at 0.09 MnT in Jan’18, recording a substantial increase of 29% M-o-M against 0.07 MnT in Dec’18, followed by South Africa, Gabon, and Georgia.
