Russia’s EVRAZ reported decline in its crude steel output in the second quarter of CY ’20 at 3.37 mn t against 3.55 mn t in Q1, down 5.1% q-o-q, mainly due to capital repairs and gas pause at EVRAZ ZSMK in Jun as well as capital repairs at EVRAZ NTMK in May. Total steel output in H1 recorded at 6.93 mn t, down 0.7% y-o-y.
