Lump prices move up further by INR 250/MT and fines prices up by INR 100/MT.
Odisha’s largest merchant iron ore producer – Rungta Mines has further increased iron ore prices w.e.f today (01 Oct’16). The miner has increased lump prices by INR 250/MT and fines prices by INR 100/MT.

Another major merchant miner in Odisha has raised lump prices by INR 600/MT. It is to be noted while other merchant miners had increased lump prices by around INR 600-750/MT via successive hike since mid of Sept’16, Serajuddin Mines had not revised prices.
However in the latest round of revision, the miner has increased lump prices by INR 600/MT and kept fines prices unmoved.
