Wire rod production of other Indian producers fell during Apr-Aug’16
According to monthly data report of JPC’s Ministry of steel, RINL (Vizag steel) increased its wire rod production substantially by about 26% to 2,47,000 MT during Apr- Aug’16 compared with same period last year,
The company has two wire rod mills, both are located in Visakapatnam. Wire rod mill-1 has an existing capacity of 0.85 MnT whereas wire rod mill-2 has an existing capacity of 0.6MnT.
The production of other large domestic wire rod manufacturers like SAIL, Tata Steel and JSPL has fallen significantly during the same period.
