On February 26, RINL offered 30,000 tons of Pig iron to overseas buyers, through an export tender.
“We have decided to award the contract (shipment in April)”. RINL has received bids at $403.02/MT FOB Vizag Port from Stemcor (London) and LG Inernational (South Korea), said an RINL official.
“It's a good buy !! Prices in international market are around the same levels.
VSP wanted to sell its material at a good price during the financial year end.
We are in discussions and might sell it out to Far East or South East Asia”, senior Stemcor and LG International official shared with SteelMint.
