India: RINL’s Export Tender for Sale of Pig Iron

RINL, India’s 2^nd largest exporter of Pig iron based in Vizag (Andhra Pradesh), has offered 30,000 MT of Basic grade Pig iron to international buyers through an export tender.

Quantity: 30,000 MT (+/-10%)

Delivery: The last date of delivery will be 15 Oct, 2014

Delivery Basis: FOB St Visakhapatnam port or Gangavaram port on direct export basis

Destination: Any country (other than banned countries)

RINL has floated its last tender for export of 30,000 MT Basic grade Pig iron in the month of July, 2014. The deal was concluded with Hong Kong based trading company, Fecat at USD 390.20/MT FoB Vizag port. Whereas, Neelachal Ispat, another largest Pig iron exporter, had settled its deal at 398.02/MT FoB East Coast with a Switzerland based company, Prime Carbon GmbH.

By witnessing the sluggish finished demand in the domestic market, the company is offering Pig iron at INR 24,600/MT with a price correction of INR 400/MT for August month.
