TMT trades are low from last few days in
almost all the places.
“Mumbai Re-bar demand is weak and prices have corrected by
Rs 100/MT at Rs 38,900/MT (Basic price). As construction activities are less due
to labour shortage, demand is not picking up. Prices are expected to fall in
the range of Rs 500-600/MT in over the next week”, remarks a trader in Mumbai.
“Raipur TMT prices slip by Rs 500/MT and trade at Rs
38,000/MT (Basic price). Trading volumes are low as there is limited action in the construction sector due to labour issues. Prices might not move down further”, said a Raipur based Re-bar
manufacturer.
“Hyderabad Re-bar demand is weak on account of issues
relating to payments, labour shortage, and water supply. Prices are trading at
Rs 39,000/MT (Basic price)”, a trader in Hyderabad reported.
