A privately owned company, Prime Carbon GmbH (Switzerland) is taker of RINL's 30,000 tons Pig Iron at $396/MT FOB Vizag Port (INR 21,800), a senior official of the company confirmed this evening.
“Four parties are interested to lift 1,00,000 tons of Pig Iron offered through the open domestic tender. The highest bid was Rs 21,600 but decision has not yet been taken due to on going negotiations.
On anticipations of better exports market ahead, we are holding domestic price at Rs 22,500/MT and are to offer another 30,000 tons to overseas buyers in Feb”, he added.
