Sources have indicated that sellers in Australia are bullish
on market going ahead and expecting higher offers. However, buyers are not much
attracted towards higher offers at this point.
Currently, the Premium Low-volume material is available at
$161/MT FOB Australia with unchanged price offer and that of HCC 64 Mid-volume
stands at $148.5/MT (FOB) converting to $163.5/MT CFR India on Panamax basis.
Experts opined that chances of coking coal going higher from
current levels is strong considering increasing prices in iron and steel
industry.
