VSP has closed its captive power plant from last two to three days. Hence, bookings are closed and its sales has also come down.
As also learned from other sources, production at Vizag
Steel plant (VSP) was disrupted on Sunday due to power failure of eight to nine
hours than usual.
“The captive power unit of the steel plant was affected
due to some technical problem in receiving power supplied by the AP Transco,” the management of VSP said Business Line.
The release also said there
was “a zero power situation at the plant” and there was production loss.
However, all steps were taken to protect the equipment and normalcy was
restored later, the release added.
