Poland government will spend 3 billion zlotys ($0.61 billion) from the national budget to provide coal subsidies to the local government. The country is facing coal shortage of 3 mnt before the winters and hence, an average subsidy of 1,000 zlotys per tonne ($203.53/t) will be provided. In addition, the government will limit the coal purchase price of local government to 1,500 zlotys per tonne ($305.29/t).
