“Steel grade Pig Iron offers for domestic buyers drop by Rs 500/MT to Rs 23,500/MT (Basic) for Nov 12.
Built up in inventory levels and anticipation of good buying volumes at low prices have accounted for reduction in offers”, remarked senior officials at Vizag Steel.
“Depending on the quantities being purchased, Pig Ion is being offered up to Rs 22,700-800/MT.
The company has not lowered prices for other products other than Pig Iron.
The exports tender date has been further extended to the mid of Nov and We are forced to sell out a large quantity to international buyers looking at the stock piled up”, the officials remarked further.
