Pig iron (steel) is to be offered at same prices by NINL for rest of the days in January. Prices are likely to be revised in the first week of February.
Its material is currently quoted at Rs 22,000/MT (Ex works Cuttack) with a maximum discount of Rs 400/MT on purchasing of 7,000 MT in total.
According to sources, “It may be early for the company to raise offers at the moment.
Market across the globe is being observed as of now and most importantly, NINL has to keep an eye on the exports market for some more days.
Moreover, the 60,000 tons exports tender price bid is yet to be opened, on which its pricing policy is mostly dependent”.
