Limited buying activities and low prices of Pig Iron in the international market resulted in slowdown of Pig Iron imports and exports from China in the month of September, this year.
It reduced by 70.770% and 38.719% to 18,663.997 tons and 32,108.807 tons respectively. The average prices for imports stood at $458.14/MT and that of exports was at $497.34/MT.
From January to September 12, China made 362,192.157 tons of Pig Iron purchases and supplied 247,727.687 tons in total.
