In Northeast Asia, Pig Iron import price is being quoted at $410-420/t CFR since the middle of September.
Offers drop by $20-25/t in comparison to prices quoted in August due to poor sales of steel and low iron ore and scrap prices in international market.
It was heard that in the middle of September, a mill in Korea booked a cargo at $415/t CFR to Japan suppliers.
