Domestic market for Silico Manganese continues to be dismal
and prices have corrected by Rs 800-1000/MT within a week.
SiMn 60-15 in Raipur is quoted at Rs 51,250-51,500/MT (Basic Price) i.e.
down from the previous week's quote of Rs 52,500/MT.
According to market players, “Market is very dull as there are
very few buyers. Cutback in steel production levels has lowered the buying
interest. However, market is expected to pick up once the International market revives
completely”.
