“Tata Metaliks Ltd is offering foundry grade Pig Iron at Rs 28,900/MT (Ex Kharagpur) and the number of customers at current offers has no doubt improved”, shared a senior official of the company.
“Offers fall by Rs 1,100/MT to Rs 26,700/MT (Ex Maharashtra) for steel grade Pig Iron due to the downward price trend of state owned producers and few of the other manufacturers”, said an official at Sona Alloys Pvt Ltd.
Mesco Steel has reduced steel grade Pig Iron prices by Rs 800/MT to Rs 22,500/MT (Ex Cuttack), which is equivalent to that of NINL offers of the same grade.
