Arya Iron & Steel Ltd and Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, based in Barbil (Odisha) lift Iron Pellet offers by Rs 100-200/MT to Rs 7,700/MT (Fe 63%+, CCS 250, F.O.R Barbil siding).
“Demand from sponge iron manufacturers has improved and sponge iron prices rise by Rs 1,000/MT in last one week.
Though, Pellet prices have been raised up to Rs 200/MT, there are not many buyers at new offers”, said an official at a Pellet making plant in Barbil.
