HR strip (patra) prices fell by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Raipur and by INR 100/t ($1/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh due to limited buying interest today as against 30 Apr’22. Base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices were at INR 61,000/t ($797/t) exw Raipur and INR 61,900/t ($809/t) exw Mandi, excluding GST. Prices rose by INR 1,700/t ($22/t) and INR 1,400/t ($18/t) in Raipur and Mandi respectively compared to last week.
