Parth Jindal, head of JSW’s overseas steel operations, has ruled out any further asset buying by the steel major abroad, SteelMint learnt from a Twitter post by Jindal. The post appeared soon after media reports emerged that JSW Steel could consider a bid to buy UK-based Liberty Steel. The future growth of the company is premised on its India operations, the post declared. JSW has production facilities in Mingo Junction and Bay Town in the US as well as a long steel unit in Italy.
