Pakistan’s bulk HRC imports stable, y-o-y, in FY’22

Pakistan’s bulk HRC import shipments remained largely stable at 831,108 tonnes (t) in FY’22 compared to 836,734 t in the corresponding period last year, as per vessel line up data maintained with SteelMint. On a monthly basis, imports surged 40% to 77,856 t in Jun’22 versus 55,571 t a month ago. Notably, the entire quantity was imported from Japan during the month.
