Imported scrap offers in Pakistan have moved up against the beginning of this week. Confirmed deals for containerized shredded scrap were reported at $480-485/t CFR Port Qasim, however, offers have now risen to $490-495/t CFR levels after Turkey imported scrap prices have increased. However, trade activities have remained slow due to the upcoming Eid holidays. SteelMint’s biweekly price assessment for containerized shredded scrap stands at $487/t CFR Port Qasim, up by $20/t w-o-w.
